A few weeks ago, I wrote about skipping a long run.
(My mom said it was a good post… and if my mom said it, obviously it’s true.)
In this post, I beat myself up for skipping said long run, and made a promise that things would be different going forward.
I was going to stop being a gigantic flake, for one thing.
And I was going to take the necessary steps to get back to where I used to be.
To be the person who ran 1:57 Half Marathon and a 4:12 Marathon.
Yeah. More of that.
I am proud to say that I HAVE stopped being a gigantic lazy person and have started kicking ass and taking names.
I am now running 5 days a week.
I have signed up for the gym and am doing double work outs.
I am doing speed work.
My Garmin registered over 120,000 steps last week.
I have joined Weight Watchers and am losing weight.
I have done both a 14 & a 15 mile long run within the last two weeks.
I am doing hill repeats.
