So this, my friends, was my weekend in a nutshell.
Did I clean my house?
Did I go to the grocery store?
Did I take out the trash?
Did I do my long run?
I sat on my couch on Sunday afternoon beating myself up for doing absolutely nothing all weekend.
I have a half marathon in less than 2 weeks and I am skipping my long run?
Who am i?
I reminded myself that the old me would have NEVER skipped a long run and been a gigantic lazy ass all weekend.
ThAT girl wasn’t lazy.
THAT girl ran a half marathon in 1:57.32.
How did THAT girl do it?
THAT girl ran 5 to 6 days a week and averaged 35-40 miles.
THAT girl went to the gym.
THAT girl took spin classes.
THAT girl did double workouts.
THAT girl did speedwork.
THAT girl worked her aSS off.
I want to be THAT girl again.
In order to get there- THIS girl is going to have to make some changes.
THIS girl is going to start running atleast 5 days a week.
THIS girl is going to get back to the gym.
THIS girl is going to lose some weight.
THIS girl is going to do speedwork.
THIS girl is going to go to spin classes.
THIS girl is going to continue to do hill repeats.
THIS girl is going to work her ass off.
