I hate Mondays.
I totally do…
This hatred of all things Monday-related,
is exacerbated by the fact that I haven’t run in almost 6 days.
No, I am not kidding.
As I mentioned on Thursday,
being injured SUPER sucks and
because of this fact-
I am being forced to take some time off.
I have an X-ray scheduled for tomorrow
and a Doctors appointment on Friday morning
to see WTH is going on with my leg.
Just in case you were wondering.
I would really like to get back to the point
where the most difficult running decision of the day
is which skirt I am going to wear.
(preferably this one)
This injury is just as annoying as being sidelined with plantar fasciitis.
(Not very painful- just super irritating)
How do I know?
Well, OF COURSE I have had PF before.
[rolling my eyes]
So, what am I doing with myself during this self-imposed break?
Icing the crap out of my shin…
Sitting on the couch…
Writing blog posts for the next 15 years…

Binge watching the first season of “Murder in the First”…
and “The Last Ship”…
If you are thinking to yourself,
“Sounds like she is doing a whole ‘lotta nothin'”
You would be correct.
And, I am NOT happy about it.
A few reasons why I run:
1. I get to eat more
2. It makes me happy
3. I get to wear running skirts.
4. It makes me happy
5. I like running
In summary, I am unable to do any of the above mentioned things…
and am on the verge of losing my marbles, people.
Lets not EVEN talk about the fact that I have the Santa Barbara Half Marathon in 26 days.
