Sunday Funday: I love oatmeal.

I decided that since yesterday’s post, “Drivers, please stop trying to run me over” was so serious, I should do a fun post today.

YAY for FUN!

With that being said, I admit it.

I am weird.

I am totally a “routined” eater. I have talked about this already… but I digress.

I love to eat the same thing. all. the. time.

What this means to you, is that I have a couple billion recipes for oatmeal… my favorite breakfast food (with the exception a good Bloody Mary, of course).

Say hello to heaven in a glass!

But, I digress again…

I already shared the recipe for my famous not famous “crockpot protein oats“.

I have a few more for you!

Pumpkin Protein Oats

1/2 cup oats

1 tbsp chia seeds (I used chia seeds from Nativas Naturals)

1/2 cup pureed pumpkin

1 egg or two egg whites (gotta get the protein in there)

2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

1 tbsp cinnamon

2 packets of Stevia (or sugar if you wish)

1/2 cup of almond milk

chocolate banana

Chocolate Banana Oats

1/2 cup oats

2 tbsp Cocoa Via powder (oh, so good!)

1 small banana

2 packets of Stevia (or sugar if you wish)

1/2 cup of almond milk

apple with chia

Apple Cinnamon Chia Oats

1/2 cup oats

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 container of organic applesauce

1 tbsp cinnamon

2 packets of Stevia (or sugar if you wish)

1/2 cup of almond milk

banana cinnamon

Peanut Butter Banana Oats

1/2 cup oats

1 small banana

2 tbsp PB2 (or regular peanut butter)

1 tbsp cinnamon

2 packets of Stevia (or sugar if you wish)

1/2 cup of almond milk

I realize that the oatmeal pictures don’t look that appetizing, but I swear they are all really good!

You should try them and let me know what you think!

On a side note,

I finally won something!!!

I never win anything!

So, when I found out I won this cute headband because I was Women’s Running Series 29,000th follower on Twitter, I totally peed myself was really excited!!

I love winning things. It’s awesome.

You should check out my Fitbox Giveaway, so you can win something too. Because, winning is so FUN!

I also receive another great nutrition box in the mail from Healthy Surprise, which was amazing. I popped open these suckers the second I got the box…

and tossed them into my nightly frozen greek yogurt/PB2 delight. Oh wow.

And with that, I leave you to enjoy your Sunday!

Christophe, the Espresso machine, has done it again…

He is just the best.

salted caramel

This is a salted (sugar-free) caramel mocha with almond milk and light whipped cream.

I broke out the ‘stache cup, especially for this occasion.

Happy Sunday Funday everyone!

I LOVE oatmeal too! I haven’t gotten too adventurous with it and I’m very picky about how it’s made. Like I’ll only eat it if I make it and it’s made with Steel Cut Oats. I just put maple syrup on mine but after reading your post I’m inspired to experiment 🙂 I’m 32 weeks pregnant and have been paying attention to my protein intake. It’s kind of hard when I still have some slight lingering morning sickness symptoms. So I’m really interested in your Pumpkin Protein recipe.

Thanks for liking my post over at I’m not a runner but I love to walk, hike and do yoga and your advice and posts will help me get back into the swing of things after having my baby. Look forward to reading more 🙂

Oh – great post! I am also a routine eater, and I eat my gluten-free oatmeal every. single. morning. without fail. I buy it in bulk. I cannot imagine my life without it. 😀

I love some of these variations – I see some Pumpkin Protein Oats in my very immediate future!

Ooooh, those oatmeal recipes! I’m the same way – routine eater – and I’ve had oatmeal for breakfast for years and years. And even if I love even just the most regular oatmeal, it’s nice to spice things up sometimes. So thanks for the ideas! 😀 (p.s. Kinda post twins, mine was about oatmeal as well today. XD)

Thats awesome! I love all of my fellow oatmeal lovers! And thank you for making me feel better about being a routined eater, at least there is another soul out there like me. Besides, oatmeal rocks! I will follow you so I can get all of your oatmeal posts! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
