Running into 2013!

I realized last night that we are inching towards April and I haven’t written down (or blogged about) my running goals for this year. What am I thinking?!?! Please forgive me.

As you probably know, I have always been a HUGE advocate of having goals and writing them down. I have posted on this topic previously here but felt that it is important to throw my running goals out there to   get it in writing. Hopefully I will inspire you to do the same!

March 24- March Triathlon Series: Lopez Lake, Arroyo Grande, CA

April 7- SLO Half Marathon: San Luis Obispo, CA

June 8- See Jane Run Half Marathon: Alameda, CA

July 14- Shoreline Half Marathon: Ventura, CA

October 7: Long Beach ICB Marathon: Long Beach, CA

November 9- Santa Barbara International Veterans Half Marathon, Santa Barbara, CA

That’s right… I am doing my first Triathlon, 2nd Marathon and 4 Half Marathons.

I am dreamin’ BIG in 2013!

        I have the MV2 racers. They’re a little hard to get used to but I do feel a difference when I run in them. Like I’m catapulting off my feet! It’s great to see people using a midfoot “land”. Switching to that style has kept me running and injury free!

    Ashley, I love your list of goals! In fact, I may be running the Ventura Shoreline as well. I’m thinking of doing the 10k. Maybe I’ll see you out there! 🙂
